The CSU has the financial resources to protect Lecturer faculty jobs and student access to learning. Currently, the Chancellor’s Office has over $8.5-billion stored in investment accounts, and several billion more in reserves. Instead of claiming austerity, Cal State LA should use its own reserves or ask for support from the CO to cover potential deficits. Lecturers’ livelihood and student learning are on the line. Commit to ask for support from the Chancellor’s Office before one Lecturer under your leadership loses their livelihood.

We still believe the CSU is the People's University.
